You will be very fortunate if you get a approx. cost (site unseen). I am a Master Carpenter Period Restoration Specialist over 20 years in business and do lots of painting and I hire some painter's from time to time.

Painter's and myself are VERY fussy on the type of paint they use. When the customer buys the paint which is usually a poor quality paint) the price of the job automatically goes up (just a warning).

Find some Painters name's. Ceiling type and height, width of crown, casings and base board mouldings, how many mouldings per room doors, windows, hardware to be removed, Unfortunately all these things come into play when you get a estimate for your job.

We are situated in British Columbia so it wouldn't be far or wise for us to give you a quote. Get a quote from a local contractor that knows pricing in your area and knows what kind of building materials are used on your homes.

You should get three estimates from three different painters. Who ever is going to do the work needs to see the place.
