Copper is the best. I'm not sure the term pex but if it is plastic of sort mice like to chew it & it can cause major damage.

I fully agree with Lloyd. In addition your electrical is grounded to the copper plumbing. Also, copper in your drinking water is a health benefit. Only downside to copper is it's time consuming to solder the connections and navigating the runs.

Hi Tiziana,

For residential applications, pex is the new norm. Not to mention it will out perform copper in every way. It will last longer, won't water hammer, far less likely to sweat, you can run with no concealed joints, less expensive than copper in terms of material and labour. You'll have better water pressure/volume. Most municipalities are running plastic underground up to your property line and new home contractors are bringing plastic water services right into the house. Copper is simply not practical anymore as it is, in most applications, inferior to plastic.

I would encourage you to do some research to ensure you're installing a good product. I would suggest Uponor Wirsbo.

Hope this helps!

Yellow spots appeared on the stretch ceiling in the kitchen. I wonder if it is possible to wash the stretch ceiling somehow at home? Or it is better to contact the cleaning company? I've got a good mind, I might just do that, but there is no guarantee that I can do it. And there is a sort of thing, I`ve got a popcorn ceiling in my room. I want to get rid of it. How likely is it I`ll find an office that deals with popcorn ceiling removal at home. What do you think?
