Possibility of building a garage

Hi,
I am in the process of buying a house. The house doesn't have a garage. I want to build it on my own. Today, I went to the Toronto Buildings office, Etobicoke, ON to know the zoning by-laws. They said that it is legal to build a garage; however, based on the survey, it is going to be hard to build a garage while abiding to the by-laws. Please advise.
I have the following documents:
1) Survey (attached)
2) By-laws: we have to abide by both old and new by laws.

Hi Robin,
I'm not really sure of the question you are asking. I would suggest talking to an architect who can walk you through it. Most architects will do a site visit and tell you your options.
