Pre-hung door dealers

Hi everyone.
We are close to finishing our basement and now need to purchase some pre-hung doors. We need to purchase 5 in total, but have run into a bit of a stumbling block, as 2 out of the 5 doors are not carried by the big box stores (home depot, rona, lowes) and to custom order these doors would take 3 to 4 weeks...yikes!
The two outstanding doors are:
26 x 78 interior pre-hung door
30 x 78 exterior pre-hung door (which will be used for the cold room). Unless any of the forum experts think I could use an interior door instead.
Can anyone please suggest a store/dealer around the Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Toronto area that specializes in pre-hung doors who would stock the types and sizes as mentioned above? Or, a store/dealer who can custom order these doors onsite in a couple of days.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be great appreciated.

PS. We are specifically looking for pre-hung doors, as we are not savvy enough to build a frame from scratch. Thanks for your support.

Hi John:
The box stores do not have a door shop. That is why it is so long to get special sizes. I imagine that you have either a Windsor Plywood store or Home Hardware building centre in your area. Go to their contractor desk, and they will fix you up. Most of these outlets have a door shop either on their premises or nearby.

Windsor Plywood is a bit far, but I will definitely try home hardware. I always forget to go there.
Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Hi John,
I dont know if they still provide the service but the Rona located at Mavis and 401 in Mississauga used to have a guy named Fred who would do this type of stuff, again I don't know if Fred is still there or even if they still do it but give them a call. Good Luck

I went there this afternoon and Fred is no longer there. They said they would also need 3 to 4 weeks.
Chuck, I went to Home Hardware in Milton and they too said that they would need 3 to 4 weeks. He mentioned that there weren't many door manufactures locally anymore???
Any other stores/dealers that anyone could please recommend?

Little bit of a hike, but New Canadian/Home hardware on Dupont street - 416-531-3535 and of course Central Fairbanks lumber on Steeles. Both can be of assistance.

Thanks Glenn. I'll give them a call, but their was a gentlemen with a 647# who left a post previously before but it looks like he has removed it. I couldn't call him back as I was on the road for most of the day today.
Can the gentlemen who posted a number with the 647# please provide your contact info again. Please!!! I was going to call you on Monday morning.

Looks like our 647# guy is not going to respond with his contact number? We are really disappointed with this as it appeared that he had what we were looking for.
It appears that the site admin remove that post, which has added to our frustration.
We received an email from the sites customer support team asking that I post my request in the 'Post a New Project' section... even though our initial inquiry is just asking for local door manufactures/stores/dealers who sell pre-hung 6 panel doors.
I guess we will give this a try.
