What is fair asking price for installing (price/sqft) R10 rigid foam with plywood tapconned into concrete?
This is a very difficult question to answer. Every contractor values their time differently and therefore charges different hourly rates. You can find guys to do the install for considerably less than others but what experience do they have? Are they insured? Are they reputable and should you trust them in your home? Also there are factors to consider such as will the material all be already down there or need to be carried down? And if so what is the access like to the space? Also the shape and size of space will largely make a difference.
Be careful of comparing per/sqft prices from contractors. Make sure you review exactly what that price includes. You could see anywhere from $2 to $10. All depends what's included.
Every contractor is different for price and quality. I would recommend using only the blue or pink rigid insulation as they are rated on compressive strength, the white stuff and others are not. Think about putting the black platon they use for foundation wraps underneath the foam. It creates a space for any moisture to go and dry out or go to the floor drain. The plywood would need to be screwed down with tapcons every 2 feet ( 15 per sheet ), if your putting down carpet or a floating floor. If your using naildown hard wood or ceramic tile then you need every foot to be screwed down.
