Price to install 270 square feet of ditra in 3 different rooms. 1st room 45 square with 8 x 8 tile. 2nd room 125 square with 3 x 12 inch porcelain tile straight with staggered pattern. 3rd room is 100 square using same 3 x 12 porcelain with a herring bone pattern.

Ditra usually cost the installer $2 a square foot and charges additional $2 to install. average cost now a days for floor tile for floor tile $4-5 per sq.ft for floors. Herring Bone is $8 per sq.ft.

Is $12.00 per square foot for 2000 sq. ft. reeasonable for both the installation of Ditra and Tile?
