Hi Jason,

There are so many factors. There really isn't a quick pricing guide.

Jason,

I f you're looking for a pricing formula, there is none. The main reason you get varying quotes is because of the company's overhead. Every contractor's overhead is different.

Hi Jason,

The pricing formula has been stated here many times.

Labour + materials + overheads + desired profits = price.

You have to figure out your own stuff and see if you are in the market by using your numbers to quote on projects. You will find out quick enough.

Good luck with it!

Call in a handyman to look at you wants and needs!..oh sorry YOU ARE the handyman!

Get to the big box store, price the material you will need, then add on your price to install.

There. Job by job you will be able to build your own tables for pricing different jobs!

Hi,

Here are a quick and rough idea for the labor cost for the following items, however there is always variation from contractor to another one depending on several circumstances.

baseboard installation/trim work:- $1.75 / lft

painting: $1.25 / sqft

drywall/taping/mudding: $3 / sqft

laminate floor: $1 / sqft

tile: $6 / sqft

Regards and all the best!

hey there just noticed your question while browsing and i may have some answers to help you out

baseboard and trim work usually goes for about 1.50 per for and some contractors have different prices set for window and door trim depending on size, crown moulding is about the plus 45.00 per corner

for painting your are looking at 2.75 -3.50 per ft with materials included

for laminate installation you are looking anywhere from 1.50 - 2.00 depending on whether you go directly through a flooring company or independently

i dont really know for drywall as i do not work in that feild. hopefully my information helps, and good luck
