I have a walk out basement. I am getting set to complete the flooring with laminate. However, where the cement floor meets the concrete foundation there is a half inch gap, and the foundation is about 2-3 inches higher. Therefore, when I run my laminate I will stop when I reach the foundation. The only issue is, I will be left with a concrete piece before my baseboard. How can I do this to make it look good? I was thinking about using metal flashing but I want to get an experts opinion.
Hi there, you can either use metal flashing or laminate material flashing. I would use laminate material thanks
Good Morning
I would PL/ a couple tap cons white pine to the concrete that way you can still attach your baseboards after. It kind of gives you a little bulk head. I've done it often in the past and never had any issues.

You can cut the laminate and use construction adhesive to cover the face of the concrete and the top.Usr a quarter round, stain it close to laminate color if you can, or white, and use it to fill whatever gap you have where the flooring meets the rise. Get a vinyl nosing and use contact adhesive to cover the top edge.
