Relocate HVAC main duct

I want to have my 25' main HVAC duct moved from the middle of the basement's ceiling to the rear of the house. There are currently 8-10 pipes branched out from it, mostly toward the rear of the house.

By doing so will it cause any harm to the HVAC system ?

Thanks in advance,

Chan

Chan,

This work is possible to do, but only by a professional HVAC trade.

Rates of flow need to be calculated and have the appropriate size ducts made for the new configuration. If you don't do it right, you will have uneven heating and cooloing throughout your home, driving up costs.

Regards,

Andrew
