I would like to relocate a washer and dryer from the kitchen to the lower level of the house. What sort of professional should I be looking for to do this? I would like to put the W/D in an existing shower stall.

Good morning Antonia

I'm completing the same project here in Ottawa next week....moving laundry machines from the second floor to the main floor of a home.

You will need a licensed electrician and plumber and an ESA electrical inspection. You will need a contractor to install new dryer exhaust and to close in the old exhaust and to remove the old shower.

Find a contractor that has all of these licensed trades as part of their service. This will ease the burden on you of organizing the project.

Post your project here on Trusted Pros.

Cheers

Dave
