Removing glass slider door to reduce the noise?

Will removing glass sliding door and replacing with solid wall help reduce outside noise.

Yes it will help. But you will loose natural light and ventilation in the nice weather and a means of egress in case of fire.

Yes it will help but it's like a Band-Aid if you have a lot of noise because you're by a road then I would suggest insulating the house and use in triple pane sliding doors
