My 30 year old home needs extensive work. It is structurally sound but needs new windows, siding, plumbing, wiring, 2 bathrooms and a million little things. Is it more cost effective to repair or just bulldoze the whole thing and build a new home on the existing foundation?
If you take into account, the cost for permits, drawings( done by a pro.) and all other costs involved in building "new"......renovate.
