What is the typical warranty involved in new additions where new roof framing and foundation are involved?

Hi Frank,

You MUST talk to your builder. The "Tarion" Ontario Warranty System for new home builds does not cover renovations. Get something in writing as to what is covered and for how long.

Hi Frank,

Generally the contractor you hired/hire should have the warranty written in their contracts. A reputable company such as us, will Offer a 5 year warranty on structural and a 2 year warranty on everything else.

Kind Regards,

Scott Lawson
