Are residential roofing contractors required to have a C of Q in Nova Scotia? Are we supposed to have a signed contract and proof of their insurance?

Keep in mind that the roofer with the most experience probably doesn't have a QofA and doesn't want one.

He's very experienced and knows what he's doing.

Should have insurance.
