I have bought in many household stuff and my bedroom has become crowded for ever. I plan to dispose the useless things and make more space for my bedroom. I discussed the situation with an interior designer in Toronto, that specializes in customized wall closets. From what have discussed, I think they are quite pricey. Before I call them up can you please suggest any tips for me. My room is 270 sq ft. I have a cupboard and a small table that can consume an area of 40-50 sq ft. Open to ideas and suggestions.

The room seems large enough for sideboards/dressers instead of nightstands for added storage. Or perhaps have a bench build below a window that goes from end to end with cushions on top and throw pillows. The bench could be accessed like a trunk from the top or even better from the front, installing full extension drawers...
