Service for a Sub Panel

I am preparing a service entry in my main panel for a sub panel. Can that entry be at the top of the main panel next to the main service entry. I am in the province of Ontario

all panels have entries pre installed with a removable tab, always use those

Hi Joe
Your question does not really make sense. It sounds like you need to hire a Licensed Electrical Contractor (LEC). It sounds like you are trying to do this yourself and what I think you are doing maybe dangerous as you might be playing in the Service Entrance portion of the panel.
