How do i find people that are interested in doing small projects like fixing the wooden trim that goes around the siding. Its dark brown and peeling and id like it fixed up and painted white. It seems if the job isnt big ppl are not responding.
Hi Karen! well that is the way it is these days. My business deals with the small jobs. Most contractors don't want the small stuff, but for me it is great.
Unforunately, I am based in Halifax, Nova Scotia so I can't help you.
Wish you luck in finding someone.
You need a handyman or small painting company.
If you posted your project here with a start date of say 1-2 weeks, you might not get a response because everybody is busy. Try posying it again with a flexable start date. If that doesn't work, you might have to call individual companies. Don't be surprised if most don't even call you back.
Unfortunately customer service seems to be non existant in construction. Your job might be to small for large companies, but there are a lot of individuals who do small jobs like yours.
Hi Karen, +1 to Brent and James - you need a handyman! Your kinds of projects are one of the niches we fill.
Try putting your requirements in the "post your projects" section so you can get some local people to have a look and give you an estimate or quote. there are lots of good ones on the site.
Unfortunately, you are a little outside my area or I would be banging on your door!
Good Luck with it.
