Does anyone know of a good electric tankless water heater? Home depot sells the bosch aquastar but i've been getting mixed reviews. Just wandering how much it would cost to install a tankless heater.

Thank you

Hi Peter, you best net is to call some local plumbing contractors and have them give you a quote, also if you can contact a plumbing supplier they will sell a variety of manufacturters and be able to steer you in the direction of a quality product. From my experience Bosch is a quality product and Home depot for the general consumer usually stands behind the warranty. You want to have a qualified individual install it as water and electricity do not mix, not to mention leaking water in your house will lead to more issues. Ps: your local plumbing contractor will have an opinion on which heater is best for your application.

Good luck

Direct Energy are the most reputable company in this area. I have purchased a tankless water heater from them and installed all together cost around $1800, although I had air conditioning and furnace upgraded at the same time, this is an estimate fo water heater alone. It works great never run out of hot water and beats rental cost of typical water heater. Biggest benefit for me was the ammount of sapce saved in the basement.

Hope this helps
