To whiten normal 9 white/very light grey concrete slabs/walkway

How do I clean and whiten the concrete in front of the front door and on the walkway?
Over the years, I could see the foot marks and I would like to retain the original luster.
But I have to be careful that the remedy will not harm the plants in the front lawn.

Hi Martin,
Sounds like you will have to pressure wash your walk way and heavy scrub brush and mild soap. once this has dried completely and you are satisfied with the way it looks. Apply concrete or grout sealer with a brush to the walk way. Give it at least two heavy coats more the better. This will protect it in the future. Then just hosing it down once in a while will be fine. you will hgave to re-apply the sealer probably every 2nd year to
keep it looking good.
