My carpenters installed a metal bulkhead to box in some plumbing. My question is, how can I effectively install a vapor barrier here? I was able to insulate behind the bulkhead, but now the top plate is inaccessible so I can't start my vapor barrier there.
Any advice? Should I wrap the barrier (poly) around the bulk head?
Yes put addition Insulation in Bulkhead Use Accoustical Sealant Along the top plate and Bottom plate / You will need Flat head screws to secure Poly to Metal / If there is any water lines in bulkhead hot cold ( not vents or drains ) you can wrap them first with pipe insul ( technically there always to be on the warm side of the poly but they will never freeze being away from exterior wall and Wraped )
