Water stain on the exterior wall

Hello,
Thanks in advance for your help! We got a petty big ice storm couple days ago. After the storm, water stain showed up on some bricks right next to the main entrance (see the picture attached). Does anyone know what's the cause of this problem?

Hello
Brick are like a sponge they take on water and dry out
Wait till they dry 100% then get a sealer to stop water from entering use acrylic sealer keep in mind a seal will change the look of the brick and mortar color
Matte sealer won't change anything
