What are good home roofing materials?

Hi,

In my opinion durability never matter if your roofer /builder offers a long term warranty on roof.

I think only a materials made from poly-variant plastics are eco friendly. They can be easily recycled. TPO roofing materials are of such type which are durable and need only low maintenance. Another option for you is green roofs, but these roofs require additional maintenance and extra supporting bars.I recommend you TPO roofing, but the problem with TPO roofing is that it is an industrial roofing material, so an experienced roofer should handle such materials.

Ms. Emma we already have green roof for our garage, but we need to water it and maintenance is need for green roofing. What about TPO roofing??

Last year I had a bit research on TPO roofs, they are one of the trending methods in Industrial roofing due to its unique properties. TPO roofs are made from recyclable materials and they are durable and lightweight. These roofs can even resist wind uplifts and have good energy efficiency. It is possible to install TPO roofing in a cost effective manner if we have a good roofer. I think they were trending in market due these unique features.

We TPO roofed our 35 year old garage, It looks comfortable even at hard weather conditions. I am saying this because last year our area was hit by a storm, Our garage is safe even after that heavy wind and rain.

We consulted an Industrial roofer and they recommended TPO roofing for our garage us and they did their work very well.
