What is a good estimating software?

Hello,

I've previously used Xactimate for renovations and insurance work but am not happy with their price point on their products at $1500.00 a year or $250 a month.

Has anyone used other programs that also include a takeoff list?

I mostly do residential but am venturing into small commercial.

Hey Jason,

Simbility is a good estimating software that is a lot like Exactomate but they charge a small fee per estimate as opposed to $1500/yr or $250 per month. The only downfall is that if you operate with Mac as opposed to PC, Simbility does not work.

An excellent article about 4 estimating programs with head to head comparisons. I have not tried any of them but a couple look very promising for my business that I may try in the future.
