What is the going rate for drywall installation?

We have a project coming up and would like to know what the going rate is for drywall sheets installed on walls and ceilings. Do you charge by drywall board or by square footage?

Hi,
Charge by the square footage of board feet to be installed. That would be based on square footage of space involved plus other materials. Price would involve labour, materials and taxes. So expect for labour 2.00 and up plus cost of materials.

Hi my name is Carlous Smith. My charge for hanging drywall varies by the height of the ceiling and the different architectural layout.
In general $20 dollars a drywall board is acceptable. We plaster as well so we can negotiate depends on the volume of work.
