I have bow windows in my family room. I have no idea what type of window treatments to use. I need help!
You can use pretty well any treatment. Measure each window as an individual.
A company that handles product lines like Hunter Douglas might be able to help. Even big box stores like Home Depot have a blind/shade department.
Hi Alexandra,
Yes, each window must be treated individually, as the sizes could be slightly different. Window treatments I find are very personal. I have often gone with " Hunter Douglas " mainly because of their variety and quality and warranties. They are top of the line & you will pay top dollar for them.
What I have installed on two occasions are shutter type frames. They can either fit into the window frame ( where your present blinds are now) or on the outside of the frame making it slightly wider ( not to mislead you, but still on the interior of your window.)These shutter frames usually come in a quality PVC in many , many colours and you can adjust them to allow as much light in as you like and it is best if the trim mouldings around the windows are the same colour as the shutters. ( Can come in Finished or painted wood as well )The small window on the left should be given the same treatment. These shutter treatments usually go on fixed windows. If it's a opening window the supplier may be able to help you with this.
