The original tiles are peeling off after Winter and we are looking into getting it fixed. What are some of the good options that would work? We prefer something that's durable, non-slippery when wet, and can stand the salt in the Winter.
Hey Henry, Front entrance is almost always an issue in Vancouver. In order to give you the best advise would be great to know:
1. How wide is your stairs
2. What's under the tiles now? i.e Concrete? Plywood?
Thank you

It's concrete.
Looks like efflorescence. Probably unwise to try and adhere tiles. DuROCK Jewelstone might be a solution. Of course you would first need to remove all efflorescence from the surface, possibly with muriatic acid. Only other thought that comes to mind is sandblasting & applying a sealer.
I think my colleague from Edmonton is right.
This is one of the ways it can be
done.
Cleaning the surface. Applying sealer and re tiling.
I would also suggest an anti fracturing membrane.
Thanks
