What type of pro to hire?

Normally my company takes care of all the demo. Structural rebuild, including electrical, plumbing, venting etc.

Depending on the level of Design and the level of customization necessary I may suggest a cabinet and design company to get involved. The budget will control which company I will suggest.

Hi Marie,

Usually kitchen remodeling contractors would have a designer on their board or would have someone they work with.

Most General Contractors can take care of your entire project. They usually have their own kitchen cabinet company they deal with for Designing the new kitchen layout.

I suggest you contact a trusted Pro in your local area that deals with Renovations and kitchen projects

The best thing you do is to hire a trusted general contractor who is able to take care of everything include the kitchen cabinets and the design through his own vendors.
