What iunderlay would you suggest for a laminate floor in a condo? It has a concrete subfloor, and sound absorption is a priority.
Thanks
There are standard foam underlays at Lowes, Rona and Home Depot.
All of them will work over the concrete floor.
Try to pick the product that is slightly thicker if you are looking for noise abatement.
The standard thickness at Lowes will give you a little less flex under the laminate however.

l would recommend the air gard underlayment. You can find it at a Home depot. It has these foam balls in it that will allow the floor to breath.

Hey Jim
Your condo corp may have a say in what under pad you use so check with them.
Most condos will want an IIC 50 to 75 high noise reduction rating.
Also the condo may want a sample of it to keep on file.
This meets UBC requirements and is mould and mildew resistant. Also non-allergenic.
3 mm thick should be fine. Get a sample from your supplier.
