Hi Jill, If you are serious about getting this work done, you should put it in the "post your project" section so you can get some local contractors to respond.

There is no way to give you even ball park guesstimates without seeing the projects and the conditions.

Good luck with it!

Good Evening Jill

Jim is right about posting your project.

That is quite the "To Do" list so post it and narrow down the contractors you wish to have visit and quote on your project.

I offer firm quotes with a full break down of the scope of work to be completed on projects so even hazarding a guess at the extensive list would be wasting your time.

Thanks,

Dave

Jill

I will give you some budget/basic prelim figures to bench mark against. Make sure you get at least 2 pricing from different trades. Get a good handy man & he can do most of these at one lump sum cost if your BF/H cannot attempt it. Get new BF/H if he cannot :o)

1) For a basement excavation around a TH? App 1,500 sft = $1,500

2) Fixing 3 loose parquets? $50 - 100

3) New ceiling fan and installing it? $120 labor. Buy fan $200-300

4) Sealing three holes in a foundation? $150 including labor, epoxy. Get your BF/H to do this as it is simple. Google "seal holes in foundation"

5) New covers on a electrical plug? $5 -10 per unit depending on how many.

6) Door instalment and purchase (fire door)? $250 basic single door Material, $200 installed

7) Re-tiling a kitchen floor (in basic tile)? $6-8 per sq foot, add $2 for removal old ones and add $100 as one lump sum cost for cleanup, disposal.

8) Filling holes in parking spots with pavement? Asphalt?, put down crushed stone, tamper, buy asphalt cold patch, and get your BF/H to do,

9) Fixing a boiler? buy new one or rent a unit. Repairs can be very surprising plus you don't want a ticking time bomb near your loved ones.

10) Bathroom and kitchen piping repairs? Range $200 - 400 depending on scope, repair of drywall, paint, another $100

11) Closet doors that don't fit on track? replacing and installing? Around $300 inc. labor

12) A hole in a ceiling of a garage, water damanged (drywall type ceiling materials)? First make sure source of leak is fixed. $200-250 if a small 2 x 4 foot kind of leak, plus mud & paint, linsulation around $35

13) Hole in wall from deterioration? Concrete, patch up BF/H $250-400 depending on area, drywall, get same guy from #12 above to fix.

14) Mould in bathroom all over ceiling because of lack of ventilation? Cut out ceiling, remove mould infested using proper disposal bags, company $350 - 600 & repair back cost around $300 plus mud & paint. Use same guy # 13 above

15) Replace and install toilet? $100 min labor, toilet get lo flo & get rebate, $150

15) Recocking of bath tub? Re-caulking? $100

16) Securing loose sink and counter in bathroom? $250, caulking, maybe replace rotten wood underneath, $300

17) Repairing/replacing concrete stone walkway? Remove stone, put down fresh crush stone, tamper, relay $200

Now all these are guidelines and a half-decent guy can do all of these.

Cheers
