Why is my toilet making a screeching sound?

I have a toilet that was installed just over a year ago. Over the last month or so, it's been making a loud screeching sound, every time it's flushed. I am wondering what it could be. Is it cause for concern? Any ideas and cost to fix would be helpful.

It could be many things, the fill valve could be malfunctioning, there could be debris in your toilet line that could be restricting flow, the water pressure in your house may be too high, the toilet shut off may have got bumped and is not fully open.
