Hi Joy,

It could be a few reasons, but the most likely culprit is condensation formed by a lack of breathability.

Do you have mould forming anywhere on the surface of the wood, insulation, vapour barrier?

If you do have adequate airovement then it could still be condensation (especially if you have AC and it's hot outside), but with the air movement the moisture will evaporate.

Best to have a contractor actually inspect it to determine a likely cause.

Hope that helps,

- Tim
