6'x70' good neighbor style pressure treated wooden fence - was quoted $62 per foot. Is it correct or too high? The fence is to separate the backyard between two houses. From what I have heard this cost is too high?

Let me know.

Hi Robin,

The fence price depends heavily upon size, accessibility and complexity, The fence that you are mentioning "good neighbor" In Toronto starts at 28 per linear foot plus gates and removal of dirt,If its smaller fence the max it should cost including everything is about 45 per foot, so yes 62 per foot seems quite expensive. Make sure you check your contractors and check any references they give you.

Good luck with your project.

Depends on a few factors, if it's easy access and very basic fence it's on the high side.
