Backyard patio heaves badly in winter. the one side of house is a shared hill going into backyard. There is slight swale going down hill, but want to slow down water problem at bottom to put in a floating deck. What should I use for the base, gravel or stones at bottom of hill. Who to contact for solutions with this in simcoe county area. What would be the cost roughly for this type of work?
