I am moving next week into a condo and it has an odd living room space. It is quite the opposite of what I had before, so with my current furniture I have no idea how to place it so it makes sense and is not making the room fell cluttered and uncomfortable.
Where would I put an L-shaped sofa (with a right side chaise seat), dining table with 4 chairs, baby highchair, TV, and a buffet style storage?
Also, this place has a large patio space, and not enough indoor closet and cupboards. Can you create some kind of insulated storage for everyday items on the patio, so it is not affected by the weather?
It is very difficult to assess a space without seeing the actual furniture as dimensions can vary greatly. It might be a great idea to hire a decorator to assist you with this. Once they have seen the space and furnishings, they will be able to guide you as to the proper floorplan.
Best of luck and enjoy your new home!
