Bathroom Fan Installation

Can you connect a bathroom fan into the kitchen fan exhaust. It would be a matter of cutting a hole in the wall of the bathroom and hooking it up to the exhaust. This exits on to the roof. We don't use the kitchen fan all that much. Would there be a chance of fumes going from the kitchen to the bathroom?

Sorry Phillip! You have to vent the bathroom fan on its own legally. The fact that you don't use the kitchen fan has nothing to do with it. Building codes states that it must be vented separate. Sorry to burst your bubble.
