I'm not sure how to go about hanging a shower rod in a new tile shower stall. We had the tension rod style but they don't seem to be working anymore and we wanted to change to something sturdy. How do i go about securing one into tile? Do I need to hire someone to drill into the tile for me?

Hi Crystal! No you don't need to hire anyone. But you do need a masonary bit to drill thru the tile. The rod needs to be level and depending on your shower curtain height 72 to 74 inches off the tub on the wall to the outside of the tub. Why don't you get the tiler to install that for you should of been part of the job. It would be if I did it. Any questions I am local you can call me. Good luck.
