Laminate is pretty good for tenants. It looks good, durable and possible to repair just the damaged sections. Just make sure you get laminate that is made for commercial applications, they are a lot tougher.

We build and hold some rental properties and here are some of our views on best approaches: 12mm laminate throughout a rental suite, bedrooms included. Just make sure your colour coordinate with cabinets and lighting fixtures. Tile or vinyl in bathroom (we do tile)
