We are renovating the kitchen and the exsisting cabinets are pretty new and are in good shape. I would like some help designing more cabinetry and an Island/ entertaining area to go with them. I have seen design magazines with remodeled kitchens where the additon of cabinetry has been in a total different color and design. We have had a few drawings done but they always do them in the same cabinetry. I would like to see something else that is a little more exciting and incorporating what we have.

looking from the pic, i would suggest you demolish the wall with the serving window. for me to be able to tell you where you can add more cabinets , i need the complete plan ... or at least more pic of the kitchen.

you can still have a different island color then the rest of the cabinets. dark brown or white...even sage .. choose an accent color for the kitchen and make the island color that same color too
