Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with solid glass backsplashes? I'm curious as to how difficult it is to keep clean, what are the chances of the glass cracking (I only know that tempered glass is the way to go), and any other stories or feedback on this. Thanks in advance.

hi M S its Phil well i have installed glass tiles, mosaic tiles and mirrored backsplashes in kitchens and its easy to clean basic glass cleaner really .. about it cracking just be careful ... i suggest small glass tiles or even mosaic small tiles the best and easy to install and u don't have to worry about it cracking as it is small and cannot break ... well the glass mirrored tiles, is a bit difficult to take care of and can break easily ... but if u hire a real good tiler then u won't have a problem with any of it popping out or cracking ....

Hi Phil,

I'm pretty bad with checking back on this forum, haha. Thank you for the offer, but I've actually got a guy doing the glass for me (it was a referral from a co-worker of mine). It should be going in possibly at the end of this week! Hopefully the colour I chose works.
