Hi everyone
Recently I bought a unlabled cake baking gas stove from Taiwan and brought it back to Vancouver. I was hoping to use it to open up a business in the mall. When I called the gas company to my house to install the binding to the propane, they told me that they won't be able to install it because it doesn't have any lable or any product specs informations. They also told me that I won't be able to use it in the mall because i won't be able to get the insurance without the inspection.
My question is how can I deal with this kind of the situation? Is it possible to call the gas contractor to rebuild this gas stove and get the proper inspection from BC Safty Authority? Please help me. Thank you very much.
if you bought it with license from taiwan, then i think you can try hire another company to help you, but usually they have label, just check where is it.
I would check with the people you purchased it from . if they are selling it they might know where the certification label is.
You may be out of luck and it may not be certified for canadian use. you really need a model number and manufacturer then you may be able to find someone else who has one.
