I used Granite Transformations for my kitchen countertops and wish I had gone with Silestone.

Granite Transformations "reface" your countertops. They have some positives and negatives in my opinion. It does look good, but it is not as shiny as granite countertops I have seen.

If I had to do it over again, I would have chosen Silestone.

Well I would have told you that natural stone is always better but everybody wants to save a buck these days. Then they are not happy with it latter. Natural stone is hard to maintain though.

Natural stones like granite are porous thus needs maintenance. quartze is non porous and very durable and no maintenance needed.
