I have a newer home where the pad was not poured correctly and water accumualtes in the middle of the floor.

Is it legal to have a floor drain installed? If so, where must it drain to? What is the best type? What are the pitfalls of this solution?

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Thanks

You can put in a floor drain in a garage. Where it drains depends on if you live in the country or city. It's best to ask your town planning department, they can give you your options.
