Hi,
Can someone please help me distinguish if this is a leak in the wall? The bathtub is to the left of the streak and I can't be sure whether leak is behind the faucet or along the base of the tub where it meets the tiles.
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
Your picture doesn't show enough for anyone to be able to answer your question. There are many painters or reno guys available that will be happy to come look and give you a quote for repairs absolutely free. You're better off looking into this sooner than later too!

Unfortunately, it is too difficult to tell by pictures. Water always finds the easiest route, and many times, shows itself at a drywall seam.
You would be well served to contact someone for a look at the bathroom, and ceiling, to diagnose properly.
There could be a drain issue, a faucet problem, spout or shower head back spraying, or even something as simple as shower curtain, heat ducts in the area which may be receiving over spill/splashing.
