I have a support beam that either needs adding to it or replacement. Here is my problem, I need a contractor who is experienced in this kind of work but I live three hundred kilometers northeast of Edmonton.

Any suggestions?

Hi Elaine,

Until you find a permanent answer you can add turn buckle support underneath the beam for temporary support.

You can find it at home depot or similar and its usually under $100.

Hope this can help.
