Based on one level: Above grade, basic roof pitch, vinyl siding, one window, one exterior door, approximatley $130.00 per foot.

We are located in BC, I am sure if you called a couple of companies and gave them this information you could find out what your local contractors would charge. You also need to keep in mind the cost of permits, check with your city for cost.

Kate,

Price per sq.ft. is similar to what Kaayla suggested for B.C. . Having said that, consider other factors such as foundation type, excavation (depending on ground conditions ... rock, sand, hillside, water table, etc.), and quality of material.

I would suggest contacting local people and requeast a more accurate estimate. Give as much detail as you can to make estimating more in-line with actual costs.

The cost will depend if you plan on putting in a full basement or on piers with a support beam. With a full basement it is about $220.00/sq ft. Cost will also depend on the size of the addition. A smaller one will cost just about the same as a larger one just because of the time taken to bring in machines and materials etc.

There are many things to factor in the price. Do you need a foundation under this is the biggest one. How many windows, siding and interior finish. Prices could vary from $50.00 to $140.00 a sq ft.

Well it all depends on the size of the room it could range from over all pice of 4-7 thousand for an addition depending on material and size of the addition.
