Everytime I plug something into the same plug two items the breaker blows.
Good Morning Karen,
That breaker that is supplying the outlet is getting overloaded and the breaker is tripping as a safety feature
The supply line that is feeding that outlet and everything else on it is at maximum amperage for the breaker and will not take anymore load so it is tripping
Do not add items to that outlet until you get it resolved - you have a safety problem!
Call in a licensed Electrician to have them offer you an estimate to repair the problem.
Thanks,
Dave
I tend to agree with Dave. Perhaps what you are plugging in required a dedicated circuit, or simply the existing circuit that you are trying to used is already maxed out. Or perhaps the item is faulty.
Tripping the breaker is a good thing, it easily identifies that there is a problem and it needs to be addressed.
Read the nameplate data (either watts or amps) and determine what the load of the item is that your are trying to use.
Cheers
John
