We have an average-sized two-story yellow brick house. We would love to change the colour to a more typical redish brick.
Does anyone know what this would cost?
Yes its good idea to change color ... but we need to do repair work, pressure washing, pointing if there is loose cements, then apply acrylic lates, spray and back role, apply two coats.
Would you tell how many SQFT your house is?
Very important to do solid bonding application ..
Thanks

It is about 2300 square feet, brick all-around. Assuming the brick is in fair condition (some repair work but nothing too big) about how much would the tinting/repairs cost?
I believe you are looking about 5 to 6 Thousand very professional work.
Thanks

We did a "wash" on our brick. We had orange colored brick and wanted to tone it down to greys and browns. We bought some black trim paint - painted the trim black, then mixed the black trim paint with water to make a wash (25 percent paint - 75 percent water, depending on how dark you want it), then applied it to the brick like a stain. Turned out GREAT! And cost pennies, outside of our time. Check it out on our blog if you are interested:
