What is the cost to remove an unused old block chimney on a bungalow?

Assuming that the chimney is ion the interior of the house The cost could be as high as $5000.00 if there is floor and wall patching involved . If it is on the exterior the cost would be approx. $3000.00 assuming minimal patching of the outside wall once the chimney was removed.

A site visit would help to clarify pricing.

Not expensive. However, you willl end up with a hole where it comes up through the roof now. That will need to be taken care of.
