We have an asphalt driveway now and we think about replacing it with a concrete one.
My question is about curing process/time.
We have 3 cars (SUVs) and the garage that can fit just one vehicle, so our 2 SUVs are on the driveway all the time (summer and winter).
If we decide to go with a concrete driveway then how long will it take until we can park our two cars (each about 2 tons) back on the driveway again?
I can rephrase this question like this: for how long we will need to park our two cars on the street and wait until concrete cured enough to bring them back to driveway?
Thanks,
Mark
if using a professional service and factory mixes @ right consistency, concrete usually cures hard enough in 48hrs from finishing. give it at least 48 hrs and good to go, 7 days for hand poured and 28 days to full cure
Hey Mark,
48 hour timeline is standard for concrete setting however, in this scenario, I would recommend staying off of it for a minimum 7 days before you park your cars on it to ensure your vehicles do not cause any damage to the curing process.
28 days for a full cure.
