Ballpark to adding a single story addition, 13 feet out by 20 feet wide with a crawl space foundation?
This is difficult without knowing more details. A proper paid estimate done by a contractor who takes his time is worth the money.
Have you considered having a design done as well? Many questions will be answered during the design process.
Example:
What are your soil conditions?
Have you considered helical piles?
Will the crawlspace need encapsulation?
Will the current house require weeping tile to compensate for water being redirected after excavation?
The list is endless.
If you are ballparking to see if its worth considering or if you can afford this project I wouldn't recommend setting out with less than $60,000.
My recommendation is to hire an architect to get a clear design. You can then provide those drawings to General Contractors for estimate.
Good luck!
Hi.
Without drawings and finishing materials specifications; it is hard to estimate cost of the project.
square footage of addition is not a major item in these projects. My suggestion, we can provide drawings based on zoning and regulations.
After that you can decide what is best for you.
For single story it starts from $70k.
Thank you

Hi it is hard to estimate without taking a look at the drawings but roughly the cost would be around 55k.
